There is a very rapid transition from cartesian type machines to robots in placing the products coming out of the production line in series on the pallet. Working simultaneously with production lines, palletizing robots may detect products with barcode, QR code, camera or sensor and palletize quickly and accurately.

Taking up less space than palletizing machines, palletizing robots provide improvement in residential areas and provides an opportunity for a systematic and proper operation. Standing out with their speed and flexibility when compared to manual and traditional palletizing systems, palletizing robots ensure that production lines operate at full capacity and increase production efficiency.

Performing the repetitive stacking process with manpower may affect the health of the workers and cause occupational diseases. For this reason, the use of palletizing robots in sorting processes improves working conditions and provides standardization in the stocking of products.

All requests and demands of the customer are collected for the transition to robotic palletizing system and the following steps are followed:

  • The compatibility of the products to be palletized is checked for the transition to the robotic system.
  • Palletizing robot is determined which has suitable cycle times, speed, reach and load capacity for process, through analyzing the parts on the simulation which to be palletized.
  • If more than one palletizing robot is required to palletize the products, the system is set up with a line-shaped stations.
  • Gripping and centering equipments are selected to be suitable for palletizing work that will provide the highest efficiency.
  • Electricity, automation and plc infrastructure is created according to the project scope.
  • Upon request, the entire system is provided in the tending cabinet or a cell.
  • The suitability of the designed system is finalized as a result of the studies conducted with the customer, and the system is formed into its general shape.
  • The prepared system is equipped with compatible equipment for occupational health and safety and then it is commissioned.
  • After the completion of commissioning process, the system is maintained through after-sales services.
